Sufi Miskindas son of Amar Denomal born 1850 in Tando Gulam Ali , and left this world in 1922

For sometime he was appointed clerk at office of mayor of Umerkot, Sind

Sufi Miskindas original name Dewandas, at age of 30 got acquainted and than became disciple of Sufi Abdul Sattar awal. After taking zikr left all worldly affairs and he stayed at Dargah Sharif and took care of bhandara, and became engrossed in zikr and ibadat. Sufi Abdul Sattar awal changed> his name to Fakir Miskindas. Sufi Miskindas were highly educated in Sindhi , English and Persian. He gave lessons in Persian to Sufi Hadi Sufi and Sufi Gulam Ali Akbar ( Sufi Abdul Sattar awal sons) . Later he went back to Tando Gulam Ali, but visited Dargah Sharif 2 to 4 times a year, and every opportunity serve bhandara. He liked being within himself and mostly day night spent time in meditation. He also practiced hemopathy medicine, which was his form of earning.

Motiya Fakir and Sarhi Fakir when desired to be mureed of Sufi Abdul Sattar awal, they directed them to Sufi Miskindas. Both held high place fakir at Dargah Sharif. S

ufi Miskindas never revealed themselves to world. Many good status persons would request to be his mureeds , but he would always say lets go to Dargah Jhok Sharif mela and take zikr from Malik. When Sufi Miskindas takes them to Sufi Abdul Sattar awal, they would say "you give them zikr". Sufi Miskindas replied ," I myself is ignorant , how would i guide them." Sahib Karim" ok early morning hours bring them." Than Sahib Karim would instruct Sufi Miskindas to give zikr, at that Sufi Miskindas said " I am bound by your order". Sufi Miskindas such momim , would perform 5 times namaz at home, Jumma namaz he would perform at masjid, that's why many would also call him Mohammad Miskindas.

Before leaving this mortal world he instructed fukra to bury him at his residence . He was given proper gusl and burried at residence , where today is the dargah of Sufi Miskindas. And every year comomerated and mela organized 25 to 26 of Jamaid ul awal .

Sahib or Wali ahad of Dargah Jhok Sharif presiding at the raag. 3 raags are performed 1) evening, 2) night, 3) morning khatma raag.

Sufi Miskindas had no hier, he never got married , he had elder brother who passed away. Than fakir sahib nominated their nephew Bhagat Serumal who was caretaker of Dargah. Currently Bhagat Serumal son Bhagat Gagandas is the care taker of Sufi Miskindas Dargah.
