Q
1: What is the virtue/benefit of covering up defects?
Answer.
It
is the saying of Hazrat Mohammed (s.a.w.w.) that do not hurt or embarrass
anyone with your tongue. Whoever searches for other's flaws, Allah will search
for their flaws and disgrace them. It does not matter if that person lives in
the same house as you. Whoever sees another person's defect and covers it will
get the same reward as someone who rescues a girl that has been buried alive.
"The
biggest defect is that you accuse someone else of a fault that you yourself
possess" – Hazrat Ali R.A
Q.2:
What are the advantages of admitting your mistakes?
Answer.
A
person commits sins happily and to escape from Allah's rage, instead of
admitting one's mistakes makes useless excuses. It is impossible to be
successful in Allah's matters using cunning ways. Always consider yourself unwise
and at fault before Allah. When you confess to your illiteracy and mistakes
only then will you be shown the path to true guidance. Better to admit your
ignorance than to be proud of it.
Hazrat
Adam (A.S.) immediately admitted their mistake and asked for forgiveness
whereas Shaitan (Iblees) made excuses and argued with Allah and said that Ya
Allah when you are here then why did I go astray? Allah said that you are fighting with the one who is guiding
you, why are you compelled to commit sins?
Meaning
you are in control when fulfilling worldly desires and you claim to be helpless
when doing good deeds or confessing to your sins. Confessing to your sins is
the way to getting forgiveness for it.
Q.3:
Hadith Mubarak:" The example of my Ummah (people) is like Noah's Ark. whoever
is tied to it is saved and whoever is separated drowns."
Explain
this Hadith.
Answer.
The
above Hadith means that in the storm of this world, our Murshid is like a boat.
Do not rely on your steps and your thinking. Whoever is with Murshid is away
from bad deeds. The companionship of Murshid is like the ship of Hazrat Nooh
(A.S.). Not only the seated but even
those who are asleep in the ship will reach the correct destination. A mureed
may be a big worshipper but he will not be able to rise without the
companionship of his Murshid.
Murshid's
companionship as well as his anger, both are beneficial to a mureed and an aid
to achieve greater heights.
Q.4:
How should a momin keep his relation with Allah?
Answer.
Allah sent down revelation upon Hazrat Moosa (A.S)
that Oh Moosa I consider you a friend. Hazrat Moosa said Ya Allah which quality
of mine is the reason for our friendship so I can increase it?
Allah said," You are to me like a child is to
his mother. If she beats her child,
even then the child will only cling to his mother not anyone else. Your nature
is similar. Be it peace or not, you are always attentive towards me, nowhere
else."
Similarly a person should be like that in Allah's
matters. Happy or sad one should always be with Allah and content in his will.
